Sarah is a dedicated Special Educator having held positions at the district level in both Washington (Executive Director, Student Support Services) and California (Assistant Superintendent Student Services), as well as a state-level position with the Oregon Department of Education (Assistant Superintendent, Student Services). She is knowledgeable about services and curriculum for students experiencing disabilities from preschool through post-secondary education and has provided professional development opportunities for staff throughout her career. Sarah received both her doctorate and master’s degrees from the University of Oregon. Her experience working collaboratively to develop respectful relationships with students and families has been key to maximizing student success.
